An auto-accompaniment VST system

ReChord is an auto-accompaniment VST system with two plugins, ReChord Scanner and ReChord Transposer. These plugins communicate automatically in your DAW and allows it to work as a hardware arranger.

Just plug the Scanner on a track that receives MIDI input from your keyboard, plug one Transposer on each track you want to respond to chord changes, and you are all set!

As in a keyboard arranger, the Scanner is the chord-detection VST that determines what chord is currently being played and automatically sends all this information to all the Transposer units. These latter transpose the notes on their tracks to match the current chord.

In addition to the regular functions on an arranger, ReChord comes with some unique features:

Dynamic keyboard split

You can play chords and melody anywhere on the keyboard, not only in predefined lower and upper areas.

Voicing sensitivity

ReChord is sensitive to how you voice your chords, in what octave and in which inversion, and revoices your tracks accordingly.

Chord inversion control

Several types of chord-inversion response are available, including a modal inversion mode that allows you to revoice not only chords, but also melodic phrases. A dedicated inversion slider allows you to produce complex arpeggios as easily as sliding the mod wheel.

Advanced chord tension control

You can configure how your tracks should respond to chord tensions and alterations, to best suit different types of parts, such as a baseline, a rhythmic chord riff, a piano accompaniment, a melodic phrase etc.

Configurable chord buttons

Trigger chords by pressing buttons. You can store up to 120 chords in twelve instant access banks.

MIDI Learn

All live playing controls, such as chord buttons, transposition buttons etc. are MIDI learnable and can be configured to work with external MIDI controllers.
